Pakistan has advised its citizens to avoid non-essential travel to Iran in view of security concerns, while urging those already in the country to exercise caution and remain in contact with Pakistani missions.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan said citizens should refrain from unnecessary travel to Iran and limit their movements if they are currently residing there.
The ministry advised Pakistanis in Iran to stay vigilant and maintain regular communication with diplomatic representatives.
The foreign office released contact numbers for the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran and instructed citizens to reach out immediately in case of emergencies. It also provided consular contact details for Pakistanis in Zahedan and Mashhad.
