Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Gohar has said that Pakistan will seek peace with its neighbors wherever possible but will not hesitate to respond to any threats posed to the country.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, Barrister Gohar said that Pakistan would always remain secure and vowed to counter every enemy. He stated that any provocation from Afghanistan against Pakistan would receive a strong response.
The PTI chairman added that Pakistan’s security forces, with the support and prayers of the nation, would defend the country. He expressed solidarity with the armed forces and reiterated his backing for national security efforts.
Meanwhile, according to official statements, in retaliatory operations under “Operation Ghazab ul Haq,” 133 Afghan militants have reportedly been killed and more than 200 injured so far. The statements further claimed that 27 posts were completely destroyed, seven Afghan posts were taken over, and over 50 tanks, artillery guns and armored personnel carriers were destroyed during the counter-actions.
