Imran Khan’s lawyer Latif Khosa has written a letter to the Supreme Court requesting that the former Prime Minister’s medical reports be provided and his health condition assessed properly.
In the letter addressed to Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi, Khosa demanded that Imran Khan’s personal physicians, Dr. Faisal and Dr. Asim, be allowed to examine him and that he be transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital for proper medical attention.
The letter highlighted that Khan’s deteriorating health has caused concern among both his family and the public. It stated that during his illness, he was reportedly deprived of basic facilities. Although a medical examination was conducted under court orders, the family was allegedly kept uninformed.
Khosa described claims that Imran Khan’s family and party leaders were invited but did not attend as baseless. He emphasized that excluding the family from the confidential medical examination created anxiety and increased concerns about Khan’s well-being.
