Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s wife and acclaimed interior designer Gauri Khan has converted her nearly century-old ancestral home into a modern luxury resort.
Despite her global fame as the spouse of a celebrated actor, Gauri Khan has built an independent identity in interior design, crafting distinctive spaces for high-profile clients.
She recently embarked on a deeply personal project, renovating her family property, originally built in 1933, into a six-bedroom villa equipped with contemporary amenities.
Located in the scenic hill station of Dalhousie, the renovated property blends modern luxury with historical charm, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the surroundings. Reports say the property now functions as a high-end resort, allowing guests to stay in the same space where Gauri Khan spent memorable childhood vacations with her family and cousins.
Gauri’s cousin, Rustam Tewari, assisted in the project, while the estate remains under the ownership of her uncle, Tejinder Tewari. A single night’s stay at the resort has been priced at ₹1.2 lakh, reflecting the property’s premium status.
