During the visit, he is expected to meet with members of the national team as well as various board chairpersons. Sources indicate that Aminul Islam, President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, along with other members of the Asian Cricket Council, will also be in Colombo.

Reports suggest that senior officials from the International Cricket Council are likely to attend the event at this key occasion.

The much-anticipated Pakistan-India encounter is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, at 6:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Meteorological Department has forecast light to heavy rain in Colombo over the next two to three days, which could impact match conditions.
