Stand-up comedian and host of the popular show Hansna Mana Hai, Tabish Hashmi, has opened up about his acting debut in the upcoming feature film Aag Lage Basti Mein, in which he plays a negative role.
Tabish Hashmi, currently engaged in the film’s promotional activities alongside lead actors Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa, shared his thoughts during a recent event. When asked whether he felt nervous about his big-screen debut, Hashmi humorously replied, “Fahad Mustafa invested in the film, so he’s the one who should be nervous. I just did the work I was assigned.”
The comedian’s witty remark entertained everyone present at the event, reflecting his signature humor even while stepping into the acting arena.
The film Aag Lage Basti Mein, scheduled for release this Eid-ul-Fitr, also stars Fahad Mustafa, Mahira Khan, and Javed Sheikh in key roles. The project marks the directorial debut of Fahad Mustafa, with the story and direction handled by Bilal Atif Khan.
Fans are now eagerly anticipating Tabish Hashmi’s appearance on the big screen, curious to see how his comedic flair translates into a negative character on film.
