China expresses solidarity with Pakistan after Imambargah blast

ISLAMABAD: The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan on Thursday expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and injuries caused by an explosion at Imambargah Khadijah al-Kubra, extending condolences to the victims and solidarity with the people of Pakistan.

In a statement posted on social media, the embassy said it was “deeply saddened by the serious deaths and injuries” resulting from the blast. It offered heartfelt condolences to the deceased, expressed sincere sympathies to the bereaved families, and wished for the early recovery of those injured.

The embassy further said that China stood firmly with its “Pakistani brothers and sisters in this difficult time,” reaffirming its support and solidarity with Pakistan amid the tragic incident.

China’s message comes as condolences continue to pour in from across the international community following the deadly explosion, which prompted condemnation and expressions of support for Pakistan.
