New revelations have emerged regarding the cancellation of Indian women’s cricketer Smriti Mandhana’s wedding to music composer Palash Muchhal, drawing widespread attention on social media. According to reports, Mandhana allegedly faced betrayal during the wedding festivities held in November 2025.
Actor and producer Vidyan Mane, who claims to be a childhood friend of Mandhana, alleged in a recent interview that Muchhal was caught inappropriately with another woman during the wedding celebrations. The incident reportedly took place at the wedding venue, in full view of the guests. Vidyan Mane added that fellow women cricketers accompanying Mandhana reacted strongly and confronted Muchhal physically.
Mane further accused Muchhal of a financial deception involving Rs40 lakh. The music composer, however, has dismissed these allegations as baseless and false through a statement on social media. No direct response has yet been made regarding the alleged incident during the wedding.
Mandhana and Muchhal, who had known each other for several years, had initially planned to marry in November. Early reports cited Mandhana’s father’s illness as the reason for postponing the wedding, but both families later announced in early December that the wedding had been canceled, keeping further details private.
