The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the match officials for the upcoming T20I series between Pakistan and Australia.
ICC International Panel match referee Ali Naqvi will serve as the head of the playing control team for all three matches. The second match will mark Ali Naqvi’s 50th match as a T20I referee. He began his T20I refereeing career at the same venue in April 2023.
ICC Elite Panel umpire Ahsan Raza will officiate as an on-field umpire in the first two matches. He will be accompanied by ICC Emerging Panel umpire Asif Yaqub in the first match and Rashid Riaz in the second match.
For the third T20I, Rashid Riaz and ICC International Panel umpire Nasir Hussain will take on on-field umpiring duties.
Third and fourth umpires for the series have also been named. In the first match, Nasir Hussain will serve as third umpire and Rashid Riaz as fourth umpire. In the second match, Asif Yaqub is the third umpire while Nasir Hussain will act as fourth umpire. For the third match, PCB National Elite Panel umpires Tariq Rasheed and Zulfiqar Jan have been appointed third and fourth umpire, respectively. All three matches will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, starting at 4:00 pm local time.
