West Indies’ renowned umpire Chris Taylor is set to officiate in the four-day President Trophy Grade One matches starting Wednesday at the National Stadium.
The 45-year-old Taylor, with extensive international and domestic umpiring experience, is visiting Pakistan under the ICC Umpires Exchange Program. He will oversee three first-class matches during the tournament.
Originally from Jamaica, Chris Taylor has previously umpired five Women’s One-Day Internationals and three Women’s T20 Internationals. He also has experience in 41 first-class matches, 56 List-A matches, and 53 T20 matches.
Taylor will begin his duties on Wednesday in the match between SNGL and Ghani Glass. He will next officiate at the KCCA Stadium from January 27 in the match between KRL and SNGL. His final assignment will be on February 2 at the National Stadium, overseeing the clash between PTV and Sahir Association Aces.
