Rizwan, Babar top Big Bash’s slowest scorers list

1 min read

Pakistan’s top batsmen Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam have claimed the top two spots on the list of the slowest scorers in the current Big Bash League season, raising eyebrows among fans and analysts.

Both players had high expectations from their respective teams, but instead of playing aggressive, hard-hitting cricket, they adopted a more cautious, traditional approach.

Mohammad Rizwan leads the list of slowest batsmen in terms of strike rate, scoring at 102.74. In 10 innings, he accumulated 187 runs at an average of 18.7, failing to reach a half-century in the process.

Babar Azam follows with a strike rate of 107.48. He has scored 201 runs in 9 matches at an average of 28.71, including two fifties.

The third and fourth spots on the slowest batsmen list are occupied by Constat and Tom Rogers, with strike rates of 110.21 and 127.50, respectively.
