David Warner calls Zaman Khan’s bowling “like a four-year-old”

During a Big Bash League (BBL) match, Australian batsman David Warner criticized Pakistani fast bowler Zaman Khan’s bowling, comparing it to “that of a four-year-old child.”

Warner, captain of Sydney Thunder, raised the issue with the umpire during the match against Brisbane Heat, saying that Zaman Khan’s deliveries were unusually low at the release point and appeared more like throws than legal bowling. “It seems like he’s bowling like a four-year-old,” Warner reportedly remarked.

The umpire did not take any action against Zaman Khan at the time, and the match continued. However, Warner’s comment has sparked debate among fans and analysts about whether it was intended as playful banter or a critique of the bowler’s technique.

Zaman Khan was included in the Brisbane Heat squad as a replacement for Shaheen Shah Afridi, who had to withdraw from the BBL and return to Pakistan due to a shoulder injury sustained during the tournament.
