Four killed, including groom, in Jamrud road accident

At least four people, including a groom, were killed in a traffic accident in Jamrud, Khyber District, officials said.

According to rescue authorities, the collision occurred between a car and a truck. The groom was returning from a salon with his friends when the accident took place. One person was injured in the crash and shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The deceased were identified as Mansoor, son of Abdul Qahar; Noman, son of Mujeeb; Suhail; and Zarab, son of Khushdil. Their bodies have been transferred to a nearby hospital.

Police have cordoned off the accident site, collected evidence, and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
