Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Pakistani citizens to avoid non-essential travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran until the situation improves, citing safety and security concerns.

In a travel advisory issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistanis currently residing in Iran were urged to exercise extreme caution and remain vigilant. The advisory asked citizens to limit unnecessary movement and to stay in regular contact with Pakistani diplomatic missions.

The Foreign Office said the advisory was issued in view of the evolving situation in Iran and was aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of Pakistani nationals.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran has established a Crisis Management Unit to facilitate and assist Pakistani citizens. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Mudassir Tipu, said that the embassy was available for assistance around the clock.

He said three designated officials and landline numbers had been provided to ensure 24-hour access for Pakistani nationals in need of support.

The contact details shared by the embassy include mobile numbers of officials Farhan Ali, Faizan and Kashif Ali, along with dedicated landline numbers for the Crisis Management Unit.

The Foreign Office reiterated that Pakistani citizens should remain in close coordination with the embassy and follow official advisories until normal conditions are restored.
