Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visits Beijing Police College, observes high-tech training

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Beijing Police College, where he reviewed its advanced high-tech training facilities and operational demonstrations.

During the visit, Naqvi witnessed a live demonstration by the college’s vehicle squad, showing how suspects are apprehended using specialized vehicles. He praised the professionalism and training standards of the Beijing Police and commended the squad for its exceptional performance.

Naqvi expressed his admiration for the squad’s skills and stated that officers from Pakistan’s National Police Academy (NPA) will undergo one-month training at Beijing Police College. He emphasized that cooperation between the NPA and Beijing Police College will be expanded to provide Pakistani police officers with modern, professional education and training.

Beijing Police College President Wu Yi briefed the minister on the technology-based academic and practical training offered at the college, including AI-focused training integrated into the curriculum.

In addition, Interior Minister Naqvi visited the Passport Bureau under Beijing Public Security. Director General Sun Yu welcomed him and guided him through various sections of the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau, showcasing operational processes and administrative procedures.
