The Supreme Court of Pakistan has constituted three benches for the upcoming judicial week, which begins on Monday, according to the court’s latest roster and cause list.
Each of the court’s three registries Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi will hear cases through a designated bench. At the Islamabad principal seat, a two-member bench comprising Justice Jamal Mandokhail and Justice Musrat Hilali will preside over cases.
In the Lahore registry, Justice Musrat Hilali and Justice Shakeel Ahmed will hear cases on January 1 and 2. Meanwhile, a three-member bench consisting of Justice Irfan Saadat, Justice Malik Shahzad, and Justice Shafi Siddiqui has been formed at the Karachi registry.
The Supreme Court has clarified that due to ongoing judicial holidays, only urgent matters will be taken up for hearing during the upcoming week.
