The Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology in Sargodha has been completed, marking a major milestone in healthcare infrastructure for the Sargodha division. The hospital, constructed at a cost of Rs 986 crore, was completed on schedule in December 2025.
Spread over 97 kanals of land, the hospital is designed to provide comprehensive treatment for all cardiovascular diseases. According to officials, the facility has been equipped with state-of-the-art medical technologies and modern infrastructure to ensure high-quality cardiac care for patients in the region.
Hospital authorities highlighted that the institute will serve as a major referral center for heart-related ailments, offering advanced diagnostic, interventional, and surgical services under one roof. The project is expected to significantly reduce the need for patients to travel to larger cities for specialized cardiac treatment.
Officials said that the hospital’s completion represents a significant step in expanding access to healthcare services in Sargodha and surrounding districts, emphasizing the importance of modern medical facilities for the well-being of the local population.
