Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to youth empowerment during the opening ceremony of the International MOIC Summit Pakistan 2025, held at HEC Islamabad. The event was attended by the President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), HEC representatives, and youth leaders from across Pakistan.
Rana Mashhood recalled his tenure in Punjab, highlighting the launch of Pakistan’s first National Youth Policy under then Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. He noted that this landmark initiative laid the foundation for structured personal, academic, and professional development, which the federal government is now expanding nationwide.
The PMYP Chairman underlined that investment in youth remains a top national priority, focusing on education, skill development, and employment opportunities to prepare Pakistan’s next generation of leaders. Through initiatives across the “4Es” – Education, Engagement, Employment, and Environment – the program provides scholarships and other support to talented youth, emphasizing merit and equal opportunity.
Rana Mashhood described international platforms like the MOIC Summit as vital for emerging youth leadership, enabling collaboration, idea exchange, and contribution to sustainable development. He also announced Pakistan’s upcoming National E-Sports Policy, designed to expand career opportunities in digital and gaming industries.
The ICYF President praised Pakistan’s youth-focused vision, highlighting the importance of innovation, inclusion, and leadership development. He added that summits such as MOIC provide young people with opportunities to shape the future through global collaboration.
The International MOIC Summit Pakistan 2025 brings together young leaders, policymakers, experts, and international partners to deliberate on youth development, entrepreneurship, and innovation, offering a platform to showcase solutions and shape policies that empower Pakistan’s youth.
