The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) has reported a notable increase in both revenue and tourist usage of the Lahore Double-Decker Bus Service during 2025.

Official figures indicate that the service’s total revenue rose by approximately 20 percent, reaching nearly Rs3 crore. During the same period, around 40,000 tourists used the facility, marking a similar 20 percent growth compared to the previous year.

According to TDCP, the growth reflects the provincial government’s tourism policies, effective administrative measures, and the guidance of Senior Minister Marium Aurangzeb. The service aims to provide organized tours of Lahore’s historic, cultural, and heritage sites for both domestic and international visitors.

Officials said the bus service aligns with the government’s “Magnificent Punjab” vision, promoting tourism while ensuring safe and convenient access to the city’s major attractions.

TDCP further stated that under the direction of the Punjab government, efforts will continue to enhance tourism services, introduce new routes, and implement modern initiatives to position Lahore and Punjab as prominent national and international tourist destinations.
