Three drug dealers killed in alleged police encounters in Lahore

Lahore police said three suspected drug dealers were killed in alleged encounters with the Counter Crime Department (CCD) in Batta Pur and Iqbal Town on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Nadeem, Hayat, and Ali. Police stated that two suspects opened fire on a CCD team near Saifon Bridge. During the exchange, the suspects were hit by bullets from their own accomplices and died at the scene.

In Iqbal Town, CCD personnel were attempting to recover Hayat, who was in custody, when his accomplices ambushed the team to free him. Hayat was killed during the attack.

Police said the bodies have been sent to the relevant authorities for post-mortem examinations, and investigations are ongoing.
