NDMA dispatches 100 tons of relief goods for Palestine

On the instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Tuesday dispatched another consignment of humanitarian aid for Palestine.

The latest shipment, weighing 100 tons, is the 27th relief consignment sent in collaboration with the Alkhidmat Foundation. The aid was transported through a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.

According to officials, the consignment includes blankets, tarpaulins, clothing, and essential kits for women. With this shipment, the total volume of humanitarian assistance sent to Palestine through 27 consignments has reached 2,627 tons.

The dispatch ceremony was attended by Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman as the chief guest, along with Punjab Housing Minister Mian Bilal Yasin. Officials from NDMA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, government representatives, and members of the Alkhidmat Foundation were also present.

The Government of Pakistan reiterated its solidarity with the people of Palestine, saying it stands with them during this difficult time and will continue to make all possible efforts to meet their humanitarian needs.
