Sindh Rangers and Customs Enforcement seized a large quantity of smuggled, non-custom-paid goods during a joint operation near Hub River Road, the 100-foot road, and the Yousuf Goth bus terminal, officials said on Monday.

According to officials, the operation was carried out on the basis of intelligence reports. During the raid, teams recovered a significant cache of smuggled goods that had been concealed inside warehouses in the area.

The seized items included dried milk, Iranian toffees, fabric, tile strips, Chinese salt, tyres, dairy milk cream, Iranian chocolates, crockery and various other food items.

A spokesperson for Sindh Rangers said the operation against smuggling would continue until the complete elimination of the illegal trade. He added that the recovered goods were shifted in 10 Mazda trucks and handed over to Customs authorities for further legal proceedings.

No arrests were reported at the time of filing this report.
