The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced plans to hold Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. The announcement was made by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi during a PSL roadshow at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.

Naqvi said that the Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium would be upgraded to host PSL matches in top-notch conditions. He added that five-star hotels are available in Muzaffarabad to accommodate international players.

The PCB chairman also indicated that, in addition to PSL fixtures, other international cricket matches would be organized in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to promote the region as a cricketing venue.

The move is part of PCB’s broader strategy to expand the reach of PSL and international cricket within Pakistan and its administered territories, showcasing infrastructure readiness and attracting global players and fans.
