Five Pakistanis deported from Sharjah over fake UK visas

1 min read

Five Pakistani nationals were deported from Sharjah after attempting to travel to the United Kingdom on fraudulent visas, authorities confirmed on Saturday.

The deportees have been identified as Waqar, Tayyab, Ali Shan, Zaheer, and Zeeshan were taken into custody immediately upon arrival at Lahore Airport. Officials said the men had originally traveled to Malaysia on visit visas earlier this year, and from there attempted to use fake documents to reach the UK via Sharjah.

Investigations revealed that the suspects had obtained the counterfeit visas through agents, but their attempt was intercepted, preventing illegal entry into the UK.

After being detained at Lahore Airport, the individuals were handed over to the Anti-Human Smuggling Circle, Lahore, for further investigation and legal proceedings. Authorities emphasized that such measures are part of ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking and document fraud.
