Women tennis players continue to out-earn their peers in other sports, with Coco Gauff topping the list of highest-earning female athletes for 2025. According to U.S. media reports, Gauff earned $31 million this year, including $8 million in prize money and $23 million from sponsorships and endorsements. This marks her third consecutive year as the highest-paid female athlete.

Season number-one Aryna Sabalenka follows closely with $30 million, comprising $15 million in prize money and the remainder from contracts and sponsorships. Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek earned $23.1 million—$10.1 million in prize money and $13 million from endorsements. Freestyle skier Eileen Gu also made headlines with $23 million in earnings.

Only four women athletes have crossed the $30 million mark this year: Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka, Naomi Osaka, and Serena Williams. Among the top 15 highest-earning women, 10 are tennis players, and 7 of the top 10 are WTA stars, highlighting tennis’s dominance in women’s sports earnings.
