Eleven Pakistani cricketers have secured places with various teams for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025–26, set to start on December 26. The selections followed a high-profile auction that saw participation from 42 Pakistani players, including internationals, emerging talent, and domestic stars.
According To sources, despite the large pool, many Pakistani players went unselected, with the auction featuring a total of 245 foreign cricketers across multiple categories. Among the successful picks, Khawaja Nafees and Sufyan Maqeem were drafted into the Rangpur Riders. Sahibzada Farhan, Mohammad Nawaz, Jahandad Khan, and Raj Shahi Warriors will represent their respective teams, while Ehsanullah and Haider Ali joined the Noakhali Express squad.
Usman Khan was selected by the Dhaka Capitals, and Abrar Ahmed will play for Chattogram Royals. Additionally, Saim Ayub and Mohammad Amir will feature for the Sylhet Titans.
Officials confirmed that all players will join team camps ahead of the league, with franchises preparing for competitive action. The BPL, widely followed for its high-quality cricket and star-studded lineups, is expected to draw significant attention from fans across the region.
