Renowned singer and composer Sahir Ali Bagga has released his much-anticipated music video “Mastani,” bringing together a strong lineup of performers including Saima Noor, Afshan Fawad and Sania Iqbal.
After weeks of teasers and buildup, the full video was unveiled this week. The project marks a notable comeback for veteran actor Saima Noor, who appears on screen after a long gap. Her performance, elegance and screen presence, Bagga said, “remind everyone why she remains a legend of Pakistani cinema.”
The track features powerful vocals by Afshan Fawad, whose voice adds “a new and compelling dimension” to the composition, according to Bagga. The blend of Bagga’s signature music style and Fawad’s expressive delivery creates a sound he described as “both fresh and familiar.”
Speaking at the release, Bagga said Mastani was a deeply personal project. “This is a mix of classic and modern sounds,” he noted, adding that working with Saima Noor and watching her light up the screen was an honour. “This one is for the fans — I hope they feel the energy we put into it.”
The music video has been directed by Asim Hussain, produced by Omriya Sahir, and executive-produced by Fahad Hussain under Liquid Films.
Visually, the production blends contemporary cinematic elements with traditional Pakistani aesthetics. Neon tones, vintage cars and Sania Iqbal’s energetic choreography give the video a dynamic rhythm throughout.
On the technical side, music production was handled by Zair Ali Bagga, with additional work by Ayaz Sono and Mujtaba Ali Choni. The song itself has been written and composed by Sahir Ali Bagga.
