The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Composite Circle Gwadar has arrested 14 suspects attempting to illegally travel to Iran via sea, officials confirmed.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the suspects hail from Gujranwala 4, Faisalabad 2, Hafizabad 2, Lower Dir 5, and other areas including Swabi, Mardan, and Malakand 3.

The arrests took place near Jiwani, where the group was preparing to cross the sea. Preliminary investigations suggest the suspects intended to use Iran as a transit point to reach other countries illegally.

A case has been registered against the suspects, and investigations are underway. The FIA stated that the crackdown is part of an ongoing effort to combat human smuggling and illegal border crossings, with all available resources being deployed to apprehend offenders.
