Peshawar police register FIR after deadly assault on FC HQ

A case has been registered at the CTD police station following the terrorist attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) headquarters in Peshawar yesterday. The FIR, filed under anti-terrorism sections, names unknown attackers and is lodged by SHO Abdullah Jalal.

According to the FIR, three motorcycle-borne terrorists launched a sudden assault on the FC headquarters. One attacker detonated explosives at the main gate, while the other two entered the premises firing indiscriminately.

The report stated that more than 27 bullet casings were recovered from the scene, and the attack caused damage to government property and threatened national security.

The deadly assault resulted in the deaths of three security personnel, while 11 others were injured. Authorities have launched a full-scale investigation into the incident.
