Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in judicial training, legal reforms, and technological development in the justice sector, officials said.
The agreement was finalized during the Second International Conference on Justice held in Riyadh under the patronage of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazir Tarrar led the Pakistani delegation to the two-day conference, which brought together ministers and legal experts from over 40 countries.
During the event, discussions focused on improving judicial standards, promoting digital transformation in courts, and strengthening international collaboration in justice systems. Minister Tarrar also held a series of bilateral meetings to further cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The MoU marks a significant step in fostering judicial capacity building and legal reform, allowing both countries to share expertise, implement best practices, and advance technological solutions in their legal systems.
