Pakistan announces squad for Over-40 T20 World Cup 2025

The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association has announced an 18-member national squad for the IMC Over-40 T20 World Cup 2025, scheduled to be held in Karachi from November 21 to December 1.

Former all-rounder Abdur Razzaq will lead the team as captain, with Fawad Alam appointed as vice-captain. The squad also includes legendary players like Shahid Afridi, highlighting the blend of experience and skill.

The 18-member Pakistani squad for the Over-40 T20 World Cup is: Abdur Razzaq (captain), Fawad Alam (vice-captain), Shahid Afridi, Zulfiqar Babar, Humayun Farhat (wicketkeeper), Sohail Khan, Tabish Khan, Shaharyar Ghani, Nadeem Javed, Irfan Mushtaq, Adnan Baig, Mohammad Ali, Atif Maqbool, Javed Mansoor, Hasan Nasir, Mohammad Suleman, Tariq Mahmood, and Imran Ali.

Cricket legend Javed Miandad will serve as the team mentor, providing guidance with his extensive experience, while former Test cricketer Jalaluddin takes charge as head coach and Azam Khan as team manager.

The tournament will feature two groups: Group A hosts Pakistan, West Indies, South Africa, Hong Kong, Canada, and UAE; Group B includes Australia, USA, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia, and a Rest of the World team.
