KP Govt approves funds for honorarium of 106 TMA chairmen

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has released Rs 25.4 million for the payment of honorarium to chairmen of Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) across the province.

According to a notification issued by the Finance Department, the funds have been approved for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024–25. The amount will cover honorarium payments for 106 TMA chairmen.

The notification stated that each chairman will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 80,000, totalling Rs 240,000 for three months.

The Finance Department said the funds will be transferred to the respective TMAs following formal approval to ensure timely disbursement.
