Driving license facility launched at Lahore Airport

1 min read

A new driving license issuance facility has been set up at Allama Iqbal International Airport, allowing both domestic and international travelers to obtain their driving licenses directly at the airport.

According to details, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, in collaboration with the City Traffic Police, has established a dedicated counter at the airport. The counter will provide multiple services, including international driving licenses, local driving licenses, learner permits, and license renewal.

Officials say the facility aims to save passengers valuable time and eliminate the need for visiting traffic police offices for documentation and processing. The initiative is expected to particularly benefit overseas Pakistanis, enabling them to get their international driving licenses conveniently upon arrival or before departure.

The City Traffic Police has announced that the service will be available 24 hours a day to accommodate travelers around the clock.
