Audrey Eckert of Nebraska has been crowned Miss USA 2025 during the 74th annual pageant held at the Grand Sierra Resort on October 24. Her win comes at a time when the Miss USA organization is undergoing notable internal reforms aimed at rebuilding its image.

Eckert, 23, emerged victorious among 50 contestants from across U.S. states and territories. She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and works as a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator for an international fashion brand.

The Miss USA organization has introduced several changes this year, including new leadership and the reinstatement of current affairs-based interview questions to promote stronger public representation and awareness among contestants.

Following her win, Audrey Eckert will now represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant scheduled to take place in Thailand on November 21.

Eckert has also been recognized for her advocacy work. She launched an initiative called “Queen of Your Feed,” which focuses on promoting safe and mindful online engagement among young people, reflecting a growing shift among pageant winners toward social awareness.

With this win, Nebraska secures its second Miss USA crown, the first being awarded in 2018. Eckert’s reign is expected to highlight not only glamour and pageantry, but also public engagement, social responsibility and digital well-being.
