Pakistani rising star Samar Jafri has earned international recognition after being selected by Spotify for its 2025 fourth-quarter RADAR Pakistan Artist Program. The honor marks a major milestone in his growing music career and reflects his increasing popularity among the youth.

Spotify’s RADAR program is a global initiative designed to spotlight emerging artists, offering them a platform to reach audiences around the world.

Samar Jafri’s recent singles “Rahoon” and “Guzarishain,” released earlier this year, have collectively crossed more than 23.3 million streams on Spotify. His track “Rahoon” alone surpassed 14 million streams, setting a new record for the young artist.

In the past 28 days, his songs have been streamed most in Pakistan, followed by Bangladesh, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. His listener base is almost evenly split between men and women, with over half of his fans aged between 18 and 24.

Music critics and fans alike see Samar Jafri’s inclusion in Spotify’s RADAR program as a significant boost for Pakistan’s emerging music scene on the global stage.
