For the first time in history, Palestine will participate in the Miss Universe pageant, set to take place in Thailand in November 2025.
Twenty-seven-year-old Nadine Ayoub, a certified health and nutrition coach, will represent Palestine at the international competition. Nadine, who was crowned Miss Palestine in 2022, holds degrees in literature and psychology.
Speaking about her participation in her social media post, Nadine said she considers herself a voice for the oppressed people of Palestine, who continue to suffer from injustice and violence in Gaza. “Palestine will appear on every global platform. The world can no longer remain silent about Palestinians,” she stated firmly.
Her remarks come at a time when the ongoing conflict in Gaza has drawn intense international attention and humanitarian concern.
The Miss Universe 2025 pageant will be held on November 21 in Thailand, featuring contestants from more than 130 countries. This year marks the 74th edition of the global beauty competition.
Participants from several Muslim-majority countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Lebanon, and Iran, will also compete for the prestigious crown.
