
The Inter-Region Archery Championship 2025 concluded at the Punjab Police Headquarters in Rawalpindi with Telecommunication Punjab emerging as the overall winner of the tournament. The event was held under the directives of Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, as part of efforts to promote sports and fitness among police officers.
Teams from Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, PHP Punjab, and Telecommunication Punjab participated in the championship, showcasing exceptional skills and sportsmanship.
In the Men’s Singles category, Telecommunication Punjab secured the first position, followed by Gujranwala Region in second place and Faisalabad Region in third. In the Women’s Singles event, Telecommunication Punjab once again claimed the top spot, with Rawalpindi Region finishing second and Faisalabad Region third.
The Mixed Team event saw Telecommunication Punjab clinching first position, while Rawalpindi Region and Faisalabad Region took second and third places respectively. In the Men’s Team category, Gujranwala Region earned first place, followed by Rawalpindi Region in second and PHP Punjab in third. Meanwhile, the Women’s Team event was dominated by Rawalpindi Region, with Faisalabad Region and Telecommunication Punjab finishing second and third respectively.

At the closing ceremony, SP Pothohar Talha Wali distributed trophies and prizes among the winning players and teams.
A police spokesperson said the event reflected the Punjab Police’s commitment to fostering a culture of physical fitness and sportsmanship among officers. “All available resources are being utilized to provide officers with opportunities to showcase their talents and enhance their capabilities through sports,” the spokesperson added.
