389 Feeders Restored, while 196 partially operational Across Pakistan: Power Division

The Power Division has released an update on electricity restoration efforts in flood-affected areas up to September 27, confirming significant progress across multiple distribution companies.

According to the report, a total of 51 grid stations and 588 feeders were affected by recent floods nationwide. Of these, 389 feeders have been fully restored while 196 are partially operational.

In Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) areas, 28 grid stations and 81 feeders were damaged. Restoration has been completed on 70 feeders while 11 are partially functional. Power supply has been restored in Faisalabad, Chiniot, and Mianwali, with full recovery for 1,871 affected consumers expected by September 28.

In Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) areas, 67 feeders were impacted. Restoration has been completed on 66 feeders, while one remains partially functional. Electricity supply has been restored in Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, and Okara, with recovery for 441 affected consumers expected by September 28.

In Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) areas, 181 feeders were hit. Of these, 42 feeders have been fully restored and 136 partially restored. Full restoration will begin once floodwaters recede.

In Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) areas, 11 grid stations and 103 feeders were damaged. So far, 102 feeders have been fully restored and one partially. Supply for 16 consumers remains pending until floodwaters withdraw.

In Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) areas, 88 feeders have been fully restored and three partially. Power has been completely restored in Swat, Swabi, and Dera Ismail Khan.

In Tribal Electric Supply Company (TESCO) areas, 18 feeders in North Waziristan and Khyber have been fully restored.

In Hazara Electric Supply Company (HESCO) areas, three feeders in Mansehra have been restored completely.
In Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) areas, 44 feeders have been temporarily restored pending full recovery.

The Power Division said restoration is being prioritized in areas where floodwaters have receded, and efforts are ongoing to normalize electricity supply for all affected regions.
