A reshuffle in the Sindh cabinet is on the cards, with key changes expected in ministerial portfolios, according to informed sources.
Sources revealed that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has been holding a series of meetings with different provincial ministers amid growing reports of adjustments in the cabinet.
Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani is expected to lose the local government portfolio, while Sindh Labour Minister Shahid Thaheem is likely to be removed from the cabinet altogether. His position is expected to be filled by Ismail Rahu, an MPA elected from Badin.
Meanwhile, Jam Khan Shoro is tipped to receive the additional charge of the Planning and Development Department, expanding his role in the cabinet.
Meetings between CM Murad Ali Shah and ministers Saeed Ghani, Jam Khan Shoro, and Ismail Rahu are scheduled, which sources suggest will finalize the reshuffle.
The possible changes indicate a significant reshaping of responsibilities within the Sindh cabinet, with a focus on rebalancing key portfolios.
