Pakistan selectors have held initial consultations on the national squad for the upcoming Test series against South Africa, with the final team expected to be announced within the next two to three days after approval from the PCB Chairman.
According to sources, preparations for the two-match Test series will begin with a training camp in Lahore, likely to start on September 29.
Meanwhile, the ongoing red-ball skills and conditioning camp concluded today after its final session. Players shortlisted for the national side will now report to the official camp, while those not included will return to represent their sides in the Hanif Mohammad Trophy.
The skills camp featured several prominent cricketers, including Babar Azam, Abdullah Shafique, Ali Raza, Azan Owais, Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Salman, Rohail Nazir, Sajid Khan, and Shamayl Hussain.
