
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed.
During the call, both leaders strongly condemned Israel’s unprovoked and illegal strikes on Doha and expressed solidarity with the victims of the attacks.
The two foreign ministers also discussed the modalities and agenda of the upcoming OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting, scheduled to take place in Doha on Sunday, September 14.
Officials said the conversation reflected the close coordination between Pakistan and Egypt on key regional and international issues, particularly matters affecting the Muslim world.
