Security forces killed 19 Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists—also referred to as Khwarij—in three separate intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 9 and 10, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR said that acting on intelligence reports of terrorist presence, security forces launched an operation in the Guluno area of Mohmand District.
Troops effectively engaged the hideout, resulting in an intense exchange of fire that left 14 terrorists dead. The killed militants were described as Indian-sponsored Khwarij actively involved in terrorist activities in the region.

In a separate operation in Datta Khel, North Waziristan District, four more terrorists were neutralized by security forces.
Meanwhile, in another encounter in Bannu District, one terrorist was killed. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from all three sites.
The ISPR added that sanitization operations are ongoing to ensure no remaining militants are present in the cleared areas.
“Pakistan’s security forces remain determined to eradicate the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism and will continue to target militants involved in destabilizing the region,” the statement said.
