LAHORE; Indian Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has stepped forward to support flood-affected communities in Indian Punjab by adopting 10 villages for rehabilitation and relief work.
The star announced that he would personally ensure that basic facilities, rebuilding, and assistance reach the people who have lost their homes and livelihoods due to recent floods.
Known for his philanthropy as much as his music and acting career, Dosanjh said it was his responsibility to stand by his people in difficult times. His gesture has been widely praised by fans and community leaders, with many calling it an inspiring example of giving back.
