Lahore, Sep 01: Popular Indian television actress Priya Marathe has passed away at the age of 38 after a long battle with cancer, Indian media reported on Sunday.
According to reports, Priya breathed her last at her residence in Mumbai. She had been fighting cancer for an extended period.
Priya, known for her performances in several Hindi and Marathi dramas, earned wide appreciation for her versatile acting skills.
She married fellow actor Shantanu in 2012. The actress had not been active on Instagram since 2024, with her last post dated August 11, 2024, where she shared pictures with her husband.
Her untimely death has left the Indian television industry in shock, with colleagues and fans expressing deep grief and condolences.
