The textile exports were recorded at 1.679 billion U.S. dollars during July 2025, as against 1.271 billion dollars during July of the last fiscal year, showing a growth of 32.10 percent, PBS officials said.
Meanwhile, on a month-on-month basis, textile exports from the country went up 10.39 percent in July as compared to 1.521 billion dollars recorded in the previous month, said the PBS.
The PBS said that cotton yarn, cotton cloth, knitwear, bed wear, towels, and ready-made garments were among the commodities that contributed to trade growth in the textile sector.
