Pakistan’s celebrated actress, model and television host Juggan Kazim has issued a public apology to actress Alizeh Shah after the latter accused her of mocking a past fall, which left her deeply hurt.

Alizeh Shah, known for her candid presence on social media, recently posted a video in which she called out several senior figures in the entertainment industry, accusing them of misbehaving with her at different points in her career.

Among the names mentioned were renowned singer Shazia Manzoor, actor Yasir Nawaz, and anchorperson Juggan Kazim.

In her video, Alizeh alleged that Kazim had once imitated a moment when she fell, an act she claimed was done in poor taste. According to Alizeh, the mimicry deeply offended her and made her feel ridiculed.

Following the allegations, Juggan Kazim promptly responded with a heartfelt video message posted on her official Instagram account. The seasoned television host addressed Alizeh directly, calling her “beta” and acknowledging the hurt her actions may have caused.

“Alizeh beta, I’m calling you beta because you’re my son’s age. If anything I did or said caused you pain, I’m truly sorry,” Kazim stated. “I did not realise the video affected you so much. When you said you used to respect me, it really hurt me. As a senior, I should have been someone you could look up to.”

Juggan further clarified that the video in question dated back four years and that she had no idea it would still carry such an emotional impact. “You could have messaged me — I would have immediately apologised. I genuinely didn’t know you were hurt or that you were being trolled because of it. Now that you’ve raised this publicly, I’m responding publicly too.”

Juggan Kazim also shared her own experiences of being bullied during her early days in the industry. “I know how it feels to be targeted. I would never intentionally do something to hurt someone, especially a younger colleague.”

Her public apology has received widespread appreciation on social media, with users praising her humility and willingness to accept fault. Many commended her as a role model for other senior artists, calling her response “mature” and “graceful.”

One user commented, “This is how seniors should behave. Juggan has shown that she is not just a talented host but also a person of integrity.”
