Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for reducing power prices.
According to reports, Rehman had telephoned the premier. On this occasion, PM Shehbaz said: “Despite the hardships, providing relief to the masses was the priority.”
“We will continue our mission,” he said.
PM Shehbaz vowed to continue the mission of steering the country towards prosperity.
Nawaz felicitates nation on reduction in power prices
Earlier today, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif felicitated the nation on the reduction in power prices.
Expressing his thoughts, Nawaz said: “The recent reduction in power prices will also decrease inflation. The masses’ lives are improving with the betterment of the country’s economy.”
“The government is trying to provide relief and uplift the poor segment of the country,” said Nawaz.
He said: “The party should acknowledge the government’s measures to provide relief to the masses at the provincial level.”
Nawaz had instructed PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal to convene the meeting.
