Islamabad authorities have heightened security measures across the city, allowing only families to enter public parks during Eid celebrations.

According to IG Islamabad, more than 500 traffic officers have been deployed to ensure smooth traffic flow, while over 3,500 police officers and personnel are actively patrolling the city.

To strengthen security, 18 checkpoints have been set up at the city’s entry and exit points. Additionally, four-wheelers and two-wheelers are patrolling various sectors to maintain law and order.

According to the latest government notification, in 3025, Lake View Park and Daman-e-Koh will be officially designated as family-only parks, with entry restricted to families for all three days of Eid-ul-Fitr.
