Ali Zafar to sing PSL X anthem

Noted singer Ali Zafar will song the anthem for the forthcoming tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

According to details, Zafar had prepared the composition for the anthem of the domestic marquee tournament.

The PSL 10 anthem will be released soon.

The premium tournament will be kickstarted from April 11 and it will be for the first time that the PSL will clash with the Indian Premier League (IPL).

It is pertinent to note that Islamabad United clinched the PSL title in 2024.

First season

Zafar sang the anthem, “Ab Khel Ke Dikha” for an inaugural edition of the PSL back in 2016.

Second season

The second season featured the voice of Zafar again, with the voice, “Ab Khel Jamay Ga”.

Third season

Zafar sang again an anthem for the third season “Dil Se Jaan Laga De”.

Fourth season

It was for the first time in the history of the PSL that musicians other than Zafar sang an anthem,  “Khel Deewano Ka” for the domestic marquee tournament. Fawad Khan and Young Desi sang anthem for the PSL 2019.

Fifth season

The fifth season was something more than celebration as it was for the first time in the history of the PSL, that entire tournament was happening in Pakistan. However, the coronavirus pandemic had interrupted the tournament. “Tayyar Hain” was sang by veteran artists Arif Lohar, Ali Azmat, Haroon. This anthem also featured the voice of Asim Azhar.

Sixth season

An anthem of the sixth edition of the tournament featured renowned singer Naseebo Lal, Young Stunners and Aima Baig. The song “Groove Mera” invited bittersweet response from the fans.

Seventh season

Atif Aslam and Aima Baig sang the seventh edition of the PSL 2022, named “Agay Dekh”.

Eighth season

Asim Azhar, Shae Gill and Faris Shafi sang an anthem “Sab Sitaray Humaray” of the eighth edition of the PSL.

Ninth season

Ali Zafar and Aima Baig sang an anthem “Khul Ke Khel” of the ninth edition of the PSL.
