
BEIJING (Internews): Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson, Lin Jian has expressed his country’s enthusiasm for the growing space collaboration with Pakistan.
“Exploring the universe is humanity’s shared aspiration,” said Lin, highlighting the significance of the recent space cooperation agreement between China and Pakistan. The agreement is expected to pave the way for further collaboration in the realm of space exploration.
Lin also conveyed his hopes for the success of Pakistan’s astronaut as they join the Chinese space station.
“We hope the Pakistani astronaut’s entry into the Chinese space station will be a full success,” he added, emphasizing the shared vision between the two nations for peaceful space exploration.
Since the launch of China’s manned space engineering program, the country has adhered to the principles of peaceful use of space, equality, mutual benefit, and common development.
These principles have guided China’s approach to space exploration, with a focus on sharing the results of its space advancements with the global community. As part of this vision, China is offering opportunities for international cooperation within its space station.
Looking ahead, Lin affirmed China’s readiness to work with Pakistan to elevate space cooperation to a new level, strengthening the socioeconomic development of both nations through the use of space technologies.
“We are willing to work with Pakistan to elevate our space cooperation to a new level,” he said, stressing the long-term benefits that space technology can bring to both countries.
